In english

Last week I went to Esbjerg to visit a friend and help her take care of her little son and big dog – and of course, spend some time with her, while her husband was in Spain.

My friend was working all day, so I took care of dinner. On Tuesday I wanted to make dumplings and I knew I had to go into town and pick up some pastry to make them. At the same time, I went to the gym.

When I finished my trainingsession and bought the dough I need, I was really tired. I wasn’t in the mood for first walking towards the bus and afterwards waiting on it, so I called a cap to pick me up. It was something I did not enjoy. Normally I like walking and I consider myself being a fresk young woman, who can ride the bus any time. But that day, I was to tired to do so – therefore I had to swallow my pride and call a cap.

It turned out to be the best desscion in a long time. Yes, I was still tired when I got home. But I had a lot of mental energy, and I succeded in making dumplings, picking up my nephew, take care of him and be a good friend in the evening.

It is really hard for my to swallow my pride. But that day, it really made a difference – and I need to do more of those things.
